iDrive just went ahead and backed up my hard drive exactly as configured: Desktop, Downloads, Documents, Music, and Videos, all corresponding to the Windows 11 configuration. In fact, without any effort on my part to "configure" the iDrive backup. I was surprised that the user interface was completely intuitive. Initially I was skeptical, having failed with big-name companies who are supposed to be masters of the universe. When you do, you have to set up an appointment to talk to someone. I found Dropbox to be slow, and their user interface is non intuitive. I am a professor, and as such the class materials and student records need to be safeguarded. I found them difficult to use, without any support when I encountered a problem. I have tried several file backup companies such as OneDrive, Dropbox, backblaze, etc.
